What Family Fund Offers
Family Fund is the UK's largest charity providing grants for families with disabled children. They offer:
- Essential items: Computers, tablets, sensory equipment, clothing, bedding
- Family breaks: Holidays and short breaks
- White goods: Washing machines, fridges, freezers
- Mobility Support: Car lease scheme for families with children under 3
- Small home adaptations: Where not available from statutory services
Eligibility
You can apply if:
- You're raising a disabled or seriously ill child under 18
- You're on a low income (receiving UC, tax credits, or similar benefits)
- Your child needs high levels of support in 3 or more areas: personal care, communication, mobility, behavior, supervision
- Your child is not in local authority care (except 'Child in Need')
